Bubblegum from '94....I had this record back then....I wonder what happened to it..did I give it away? Who knows! I remember the video set in Happy Days.

I was very disappointed... Too polished, too neat... Where is the raw and awkward attitude I expected from an album featuring Lanegan? Where are the decadent and drunken melodies? Is this an album by Dulli with Lanegan on vocals? I don’t know, even though the Afghan Whigs left me indifferent back in the day, except for their debut "Up in It".

What can I say, I still haven't had the opportunity to listen to it, a couple of friends have spoken badly about it, and this is the second negative review on this site... I think I'll avoid it then.

I was quite disappointed with this latest effort from Autechre... I'm going to listen again to the beautiful DRAFT 7.30.

The absolute masterpiece of Aphex
Primus Tales From The Punchbowl

Beautiful, but not the best, which in my opinion remains "Sailing the Seas of Cheese". Anyway, the latest from Primus is definitely worth mentioning.

Their true MASTERPIECE... even better than the beautiful Pork soda.
Os Mutantes Os Mutantes

A little semi-forgotten gem of the psychedelic era around 1967... Absolutely worth rediscovering.

I have a few of their albums including of course this one... What can I say? For those who are looking for something new in every musical note at all costs, I suggest staying away. I too am always searching for new horizons, a feat that is becoming increasingly difficult these days, but when I listen to an album that is revivalist yet very inspired in its psych/beat/fuzz madness like this one, I honestly couldn’t care less and I enjoy the work with a joint in hand.
