The album is undoubtedly great; I would give it a 3.5 due to personal tastes. I repeat, it's a work of undeniable quality. However, personally, an album like this, in the long run, has the same effect on me as the detonation of a stack of dynamite placed right on the balls. In short, I appreciate it in small doses.

Another one of those highly praised bands that leave me completely indifferent.

What can I say about the album? 5 is also too little.
The Brian Jonestown Massacre Aufheben

Great little disc, finally Anton has almost completely abandoned the Californian Folk Rock revival in favor of much more interesting European experiments. From My Bloody Underground (probably my favorite of the BJM along with the "fissascarpe" Methodrone) to today, they've come back to my attention after, indeed, about ten years spent churnin out '60 style folk rock revival albums :)

Genesis Nursery Cryme

I’ve never been crazy about Genesis. This is perhaps what I like the most. Or maybe The Lamb Lies Down On Broadway, which has nice parts, but I find it exhausting. I don’t know...

In the 80s, as a kid, before discovering much more, stuff like this, the Duran, Ultravox, Human League, Depeche, etc. were my daily bread. I must still have the vinyl of "Actually" somewhere, if I didn't sell it during a certain dark period of my life...

The Who The Who Sings My Generation

Essential album. But my favorite by The Who remains Sell Out.

These have just come back to my memory, after my mind had completely erased them for years and years..No comment.
