Captain Beefheart Unconditionally Guaranteed
Voto:
Really a rather dull and ugly album. The best the captain had already given (Safe as Milk, Strictly Personal, Trout Mask Replica, and Lick my Decals Off, now those were real albums!) He will make a comeback at the end of his career with Shiny Beast and especially Ice Cream for Crow.

Cool disc. Raw and fast, it goes down wonderfully. As for the rest, I quote Madcat.
Captain Beefheart and His Magic Band Trout Mask Replica

How to define an album like this? For over 10 years, I found it extremely incomprehensible. I could only listen to the magnificent "Moonlight on Vermont." A bad, awkward, out-of-time, off-key, long, nonsensical album, but important. I love it in small doses. But for me, the most beautiful, and beautiful in every way, in the sense that I love listening to it, and every time I put it back on the turntable I discover new nuances, remains Safe As Milk.

It's not at the level of "Transient Random Noise," which remains, for me, one of the coolest albums released in the '90s, but this is still more than an excellent work. Then I also lost some interest in it, but from your review, it seems that this kind of stuff might not be for you. De Gustibus!

I would have called it zero too, since I refuse to even vote for this stuff. I was already annoyed by them back in the Dookie days, but now that they've transformed into a boy band in andropause with the same audience as Cristina D'Avena and tokio hotel, I can't even bring myself to be bothered by them anymore.

I have the first one, Horn of Plenty, which I quite like, and Veckatimest, which didn't resonate with me at all. I haven't listened to this one apart from a couple of tracks that didn’t entice me to do so. I don’t know...
Raf Sogni... e tutto quello che c'è

Argh.. you've reminded me of Battito Animale.. that shit tormented me all summer '92 or '93, who remembers.. they played it 2000 times a day EVERYWHERE. I'm going to the bathroom now..
Hole Pretty On The Inside
Voto:
The only one by Hole that I consider decent, although at times the plagiarism towards certain Sonic Youth nears the embarrassing.

It might just be me, but I really can't seem to like them. I borrowed it, listened to it and listened to it again, but I don't know.. zero! In hindsight, the only one I really liked of theirs is Sung Tongs.

But, the album is perhaps the one I like the most by Led Zeppelin, however... dddupallleeeeeeeeeeee, my grandma who is 98 could review these albums too...
