I really wish I liked Enter Shikari, but unfortunately I just can't... I try, but I can't. Oh well.

A review that could have been much better. A brilliant film that I rate 4 instead of 5 only because Burton has done even better, and NOT because this is a lesser Burton (on the contrary, it is among his masterpieces).

Beautiful review, a bit encyclopedic, but beautiful. I have a note to make: "the anticlassical language of the Pietà Rondanini may almost surprise"... anticlassical? You mean ultraclassical! Look at the pose of Christ, it’s a perfect chiasm. Let’s be careful not to confuse form with substance: the "unfinished" is a great expressive idea, but nonetheless applied to a solid and well-tested foundation.
