I particularly appreciated the last paragraph that admits what no one wants to admit, namely that Paul McCartney is 78 years old and sooner or later that thing I don't even want to name will happen, since it happens to everyone. I thank God or chaos or whoever has sent us this man towards whom I feel an infinite affection every day.

Director and photographer who has always fascinated me immensely. Many of the videos in this collection I like much more than the songs themselves. I mention, for the record, and since today the new album by Kylie Minogue has been released, that Sednaoui is also the photographer who signed the wonderful photo shoot for the unfortunate album "Impossible Princess," which was Minogue's indie peak and has a cover and, in general, a visual component that is, I repeat, wonderful.

Marina Love and Fear

I have mixed feelings about this album because I loved Marina Diamandis to the fullest with "Froot," which is the exact zenith opposite of "Love + Fear." In other words: I understand, comprehend, and support her human and musical change, but personally, I think it’s a step back from her musical journey, which was heading towards a blissful synthesis of entertainment and depth. That said, I am truly happy to see her incredibly serene and relaxed (and GORGEOUS) since she stopped dying her hair and wearing makeup and embraced a more natural lifestyle. What can I say? I appreciate her also and especially as a person, so I think what matters most is that her art makes her happy, and if that’s the case, then I’m happy too.

Excellent review that I completely agree with for this album, which is part of my personal top 3 of Morrissey alongside "Your Arsenal" and "Years of Refusal." What a dream it would be if next year, to celebrate the 15th anniversary of the album and commemorate the first anniversary of Morricone's passing, Morrissey returned to Rome to perform it in full at the Parco della musica.
