Holy Almighty God, what have I read. I’ll summarize a potential very long comment I would write on this subject in a few words: the fact that it’s self-produced doesn’t automatically mean quality, honesty, or anything else. If I self-produce, I can print CDs where I say any nonsense, exactly like those in the video linked by @[Pinhead].
Mina & Adriano Celentano Le migliori

Really a beautiful review, very clear. Celentano communicates very little to me, unlike Mina who has literally shocked me on more than one occasion (I'll remember until I die the first time I listened to "Bugiardo e incosciente", it was such a shock) and in general I appreciate their collaboration. I will listen, thank you for the honest review.
Paolo Conte Aguaplano
Voto:
I admit with guilt that I only recently discovered the extraordinary art of Paolo Conte, less than two years ago. He is a genius. For me, this is his masterpiece, more mature than his splendid early works, but not yet as aged as the subsequent albums (not that aging is a bad thing; maybe as I grow older, I will learn to reevaluate the albums from the '90s onward). "Aguaplano" and "Max" are among the best things ever written in the history of Italian music of all time, seriously.

The Smiths Girlfriend in a Coma
Voto:
For me as well, they are not among my favorites, but we are still at unimaginable levels for 80% of all musicians and extremely high for the other 20%. Let’s accept that the Smiths were a phenomenon that started and ended. In an interview this year, Johnny Marr mentioned that he ran into Morrissey by chance in a pub: they had a drink together, chatted, shared a laugh, and decided that the Smiths are definitely dead. I believe it was an extraordinary experience, perhaps one that can never be repeated. I thank the reviewer for talking about this gem.
Elis Regina Águas de Março

A simple and perfect review, truly commendable. The piece needs no comments from me; it's clearly one of the most important events in the history of world art in the 20th century. All I can say is that while listening to it, I've found myself shedding a few tears more than once, and yes, I don't speak a word of Portuguese.

Luchino Visconti Morte a Venezia

I agree with the nice review (of an extraordinary film) with that flaw of Mike Bongiorno that I can't even call ugly, well, just, I don't know, out of place.
