And above all, you have to accompany the intro of the piece by tapping on the roof of your car with your hand. Lebowski style!!!

Dr. Adder is one of my favorite reviewers, no doubt about it. I’m quite unprepared when it comes to Philip Dick, and I echo macaco's comment. It makes me smile that Dick, who can essentially be considered a science fiction writer, drew from Isidore of Seville. It seems unusual for a writer at the forefront of (sci-fi) thought to be inspired by a figure like St. Isidore; in fact, during the Middle Ages, his works were regarded as a compendium of universal knowledge, but some of these beliefs now appear quite naive to the modern man. One example: Isidore (who referred to himself as a naturalist) had through his "experiments" verified that bees spontaneously generated from the putrefaction of veal meat. He can be considered the (Christian) father of the theory of Spontaneous Generation of insects, and when Francesco Redi and Spallanzani attempted to demonstrate its baselessness, theologians actually referenced Isidore of Seville's "Etymologies" to defend the aforementioned theory. I extend my spontaneous and self-generated (these yes!) greetings to DeDottore.

Anyway, smashing on DeB is no joke, it seems. The reviews for the fakes and the well-known books are all the rage, this one received no.9 comments from no.7 users.

Ah, just to illustrate how much people care about the Palestinian people. That meeting with Manisco was organized at the university by a Political Science professor. We were three students among thirty faculty members. There was me, enrolled in a scientific program, a friend from languages, and another guy. No student groups, neither left nor right, no student representatives, no students from Communication Studies or Political Science. Total indifference.

Great review sfascia. Desmond Tutu, visiting the Gaza Strip, spoke of "unprecedented emergency," referring to inhumane living conditions already two years ago. Do you remember the controversies regarding the "Book Fair" in Turin some time ago? During that period, I attended a meeting with Lucio Manisco, where we discussed the aforementioned issue as well as the Arab-Israeli question more generally. Manisco was already talking about a new Israeli military action in the Strip more than a year ago, close to the 2009 elections. Elections in which, of course, Likud and far-right forces will win, bolstered by the support among the population, frightened by Hamas's military power. Now, I don’t want to venture into political analyses, as I am not capable, but I don’t believe Manisco is Nostradamus; it means there is something dark and disgusting behind all this. Meanwhile, we Italians are represented by Cicchitto, who acts as a foreign policy expert on TG1, explaining that the Israeli action is not an act of force but a natural defense of the State of Israel, which is disgusting. I will try to get the film. To put it in sfasciacarrozzese, angry regards.
