I listened to the album years ago, poorly advised by a music teacher who dreamed of playing in the hyper-sborro with his wild solos. I don't like anything about it; with all that arsenal of pedals, he can't even pull out a decent sound. Then all those dog-shit chorus delays are horrifying; the acoustic should sound like an acoustic. Honestly, I remember it being lacking even in terms of composition and piece structure. Simple melodies are fine, but the banalities are what torture. More generally, let's put a stop to guitarists who are forced to struggle to look like musicians. It's not my fault if in life you've made shitty music and now you want to rehabilitate yourself by implying that in your free time you're a virtuoso. Who cares, life is short and shitty music is long.

Just heard it. What can I say, really sweet, at times they're like New Order, at times they seem like Young Marble Giants but in the open air and away from the pub fumes.

Having read some reviews about vapor around, I must say that you are truly good at writing. It’s not easy to break away from the stale clichés that are often found in this genre while not going off the deep end with nonexistent connections between genres and bands in the style of battlegods. And you undoubtedly succeed at it; everything is always on point. Well done, kloo.

Easier than r plus seven, then. I got closer to the project last year and although I never fell completely in love with it (after all, how could one? The sound is too sterile), I have a nice memory of it. "Experimental Vangelism" makes my wrists tremble, though... I’m reminded of the crap from the eighties signed by Vangelis - the eunuch singer of Yes.

Beautiful beautiful beautiful, what the hell was I missing from 2017... A somewhat monolithic record, but there are ideas in it. @[kloo] if I live where you are, make some noise you jerk <3

But, but... I can say bravo for the review, but I don't agree with the sweeping judgment; not everything is terrible, objectively speaking. Send no letter, Louise, and Little Jack aren’t that bad. It’s like when you talk about the second album by Television, do you give it five stars? No, because there’s the previous one. Here, there are the precedents we are all aware of, otherwise we would be less drastic. P.S. Ian Paice should be on drums, at least on the tracks I mentioned, which is why you can hear that cicc- pa- tun- cia left-handed.

This is an amazing record. A heartfelt recommendation, anyone wanting to start with them should definitely check out "Sofa," which is a collection of their first five albums @[Falloppio] give it a try because CR are much more than just a punk band, and if you lend an ear, you'll notice. A taste:

This I’ve never listened to, but I’ve had my fixations in the past with Dream Theory in Malaya and Earthquake Island. Then I also listened to that one from about ten years ago for ECM whose name I don’t remember that didn’t satisfy me at all; in fact, it really annoyed me. But maximum respect, really.
