Fiorentino was the teacher of my first jazz guitar teacher. So by transitive property... yeah right! I have to eat tons and tons of pasta. By the way, Jake, you know he's quite a character; I know some anecdotes about him. A really nice guy, for sure. By now, I almost put a 5 down as a conditioned reflex :)

Jake, beautiful the beginning of the Mexican writer.
I never delved into Gato, partly because of the collaboration with Venditti (not that it’s bad, but that kind of singer-songwriter style just doesn’t attract me at all).
I also take this opportunity to say hi to Dolphy, who hasn’t been around for a while. Sweltering and sticky greetings - it’s 40 degrees in Lecce today, just to give you an idea!

Very well-made review.
Really a beautiful album, the improvisational parts are very nice; it would be a 4, almost 5, they deserve a 5 from "Black Market" onwards.
Moreover, this album is a great opportunity to get to know the best Vitous (for those who haven't done so already) because he is a true Artist. I like both the albums with Zawinul & co., and the solo albums that followed this period (Purple above all).

Well... I have to say that lately I find it very boring to listen to him. And even in the old albums, often more than his guitar, I enjoy what’s around it (all the Santana's, in short). The review is smooth.
