Alright, I’ve conjugated the verb "to listen" 40 times in three lines, but I’m in a hurry. I hope they forgive me.

Nice page, Jake. Thad Jones and Mel Lewis's orchestra is the Vanguard Orchestra, right? I've heard some of their music and they are truly exceptional. But Steve Gadd? I remember the name, but I can't recall in what context I've heard him. Anyway, I'll listen, because I really like the genre. Best regards and nice to see you back on the homepage.

This review is a cassata! Now I have to add another one of Evans to the long list of albums to listen to. Congrats Grass!

Very beautiful and suitable review, especially. Jake, I'm almost tempted to take a train to Padova.

But are you aware of what Emilio Fede said about Saviano in one of his newscasts?
Pino Daniele Come un gelato all'Equatore
Voto:
2 to almost three. "Samba In My Mind" is the most interesting track, if only for the melodic and very smooth solo, which, as Pino himself suggests, recalls "...the guitar of Toninho Horta and Pat Metheny." The dynamic phrasing is indeed in the "Au Lait" style of Metheny; give it a try and listen to it if you're not familiar. As for the rest, the album is lacking. I bought it upon release and today I wouldn't repeat the purchase.
