Dozer Through The Eyes Of Heathens

There are the fathers of stoner, the ones who played divinely, then there are plenty of valid bands but that add little or nothing to a genre that has few evolutionary possibilities... I’m rather skeptical. However, you forgot to mention the Swedish Spiritual Beggars!

Charlie & The Cats Greatest Tits

@telespallabob: exactly, though province. I'm aware of Charlie's worth as a musician, don't worry ;) I will try to shed light on that aspect as well soon, for now I intend to review the works of the Cats.

I don't want to come across as nitpicky, but there are a few grammatical errors, a bit of verbosity, and I don't agree with your statement about Mick Harris: the blast beat, apparently, wasn't invented by him, but you also can't say that he perfected it. At best, thanks to his intensity, he popularized it, but it was Pete Sandoval who perfected it. I don't know the album, but I've always found these bands annoying, not so much because their themes particularly offend me, but it's their attitude that I can't stand; I find it almost pathetic.

I didn't particularly like the way the review is written, a bit long, but I do appreciate your thoughts on the end of thrash in the '90s and the conclusion. I don't think I'll listen to the album, but I should have downloaded (without ever giving it a listen) one of their albums, one of the "classics," I believe. Do you think I should give it a try?
Opeth In Live Concert at the Royal Albert Hall
Voto:
@Stoney: let me explain better: by the term difficult I mean the music itself, that is, the fact that it is not easy to play, not that it is hard to listen to. However, I believe that Opeth cannot be fully understood on a first listen, which is why I say their proposal is not immediate. If you consider them to be part of the broader category of easy listening, that's your business.
