Well, I need to listen to the album again calmly, in the meantime, a generous rating for the review, if only for the curious debate about the tear-jerking song, regarding which I declare: "I can't believe what you're saying" by Sugar (from the 14-18 years period... however, it’s pathetic to admit, my eyes got misty when I listened to it again last year!) and, as a "tear-jerking song of maturity" (assuming, as far as I'm concerned, that I don't think I've reached maturity yet... but, after all, are we men or apples? ;-)!), I would say "time" by Tom Waits (in the version included in "big time"! )

If you're interested in purchasing the CD and can't find it on the mulo, the Felmay label distributes Rounder material in Italy.

Errata corrige: the first sentence in current Italian was meant to be "I agree with Jake, here I would leave aside the stars, as we are faced more with a monumental pro-Memoria than with a review."

I agree with Jake, I would leave the stars out here, especially in front of a review addressing a monumental pro-Memoria.
First of all, those recordings are useful for reclaiming fragments of our history. A history viewed from a perspective that has become rather uncommon (Gramscian, I would say!), made by the various peoples that compose this complex country, rather than by leaders or little leaders (who unfortunately are making a comeback)!
People who formed a social fabric capable of producing culture from the bottom up, without needing a multinational corporation to know what to play/sing/listen to.
Furthermore, the cover images (and I assume also the internal booklet) should be consumed with the eyes: just to find within the widespread poverty portrayed a valid reason for reflection... in Italy, the war on poverty has been fought, and often won. So why now is it being waged against the poor, or against those in the same condition as we were when these songs were recorded?
Thanks again to muitosaudosismo for the la and to everyone who is picking up on this stimulus!

Review and important proposal, even more today as Memory wavers, at the mercy of television sirens!
