It's time to grab a bucket and a cloth to dry up the puddle of saliva that has flooded the floor, and I'll try to keep my ears on this promising treasure.

A simply sublime album

Fundamental group. Absolute masterpiece. Great review.
This Heat Health And Efficiency

If there's a group that has succeeded in the unlikely synthesis of prog sophistication (without its pomposity), avant-garde (while maintaining a strong communicative capability), and punk grit, it's them. Releasing a song (healt...) during those years that talks about how good it is to ride a bike in the sun is simply counter-current, and perhaps it’s their most pop track; the second side reminds us that we are still dealing with hardcore experimenters.

Tangerine Dream The Virgin Years 1974-1978

Thank you for the tip, Tangerine Dream are one of those bands I've always read about and heard mentioned. This review could be a good starting point for my discovery of them!!!
Albert Ayler Trio Spiritual Unity
Voto:
Dear psychopompe, it's a bit ironic that listening to an album titled "spiritual unity" was tearing your family apart, but I can't really blame the poor victims of friendly fire you mentioned. I gave the album a 4 because I think a listener deserves a star for the active and engaged listening that the album requires, and given the controversies surrounding ratings, I then stopped rating albums altogether (which, for me, the content of the review is what truly matters!). In any case, for a cautious approach to Ayler's work, I would recommend the live at Greenwich Village: its style is similar to that of "spirit rejoice" and has a strong band-oriented sound that makes it less daunting than the work reviewed here; besides, it's also available in an affordable edition!
The Jim Carroll Band Catholic Boy

What kind of power we got? Soul power! Great review, with the added bonus of reminding me of an album I've wanted to get for years and that, for one reason or another, I've always let slip away... the time has come!
