One moment!!! To affirm my femininity, I will send a photo; heaven forbid I be mistaken for Il_Paolo, whom I certainly respect and who writes very well, but who remains a distinct and separate entity. I could, rightly, be called a "tomboy," but I assure you that I lack certain attributes to fall into the Homo category.

Marpardo, how funny your post is ;) Anyway, what I reviewed is the soundtrack of the cartoon, as you'll notice from the cover; the previous albums feature the characters from the TV show! And you, Barbanera, are you talking to me? If so, know that appearances - unfortunately - almost always deceive :)

Everything is clear :) It's obvious that the rating for the album is dictated by nostalgia, and especially that my fondness for Cristina D'Avena comes from the fact that she inspired such feelings when I was a child, and in turn, I certainly can't hate her now. I can't comment on the rest since I'm not familiar with the mentioned theme songs.

@vellutogrigio: Right away. I simply meant to say that those who criticize Cristina D'Avena with swords drawn give me the impression that they experienced something completely different in their childhood, and Dario Argento is the most extreme comparison that comes to mind against the innocence of cartoons, (at least for me, since not long after watching Kiss me Licia I stumbled upon "Opera" and, aided by the music, I scared myself silly) :)

As we have soured in these recent posts, no problem anyway, I am happy and proud to be part of the children with brain damage who listened to simple nursery rhymes, especially if the alternative was watching Dario Argento films in installments, which, in terms of musical depth and themes addressed, cannot be compared to the wicked witch Cristina D'Avena.

Sure, I could have done something else, but this was what I wanted at the moment, and I didn't think too much about it; rationalizing even in these cases seems counterproductive to me. That said, I'm not a fan of anyone, I am a woman, and I couldn't care less about what you think about Cristina D'Avena, whom I liked back then, and whether she's a monopolizer or not, she managed with her sparkling voice to imprint the cartoon theme songs in the heads of many little ones, reminding us that whether we like it or not, they practically helped us all grow up. The cassette (yeah, there was no CD...) was given to me when I was really little (and maybe it happened to others who intervened by voting for the record), and I see no valid reason to throw it away or deny it.

Thank you guys, yes, I really thought I could be stoned after this review, but last Friday I was thinking about Satomi and I came up with the idea of writing about her band ;) and besides, my colleague and I sang all day the songs from cartoons (we’re working ourselves to the bone). Anyway, I don’t think I’m able to continue on this path; when I feel the urge to share something, it’s because a strong motivation drives me, otherwise I prefer to just comment :)

Sure, rationally I agree with the exaggeration in calling this CD a masterpiece, I may have... gotten a little carried away ;) in the meantime, I'm waiting not-so-patiently for the tour of the same name, I know it will be in Europe in June, but in countries like Sweden, Finland, etc. I really hope they add more accessible dates! Thanks and goodbye.

Hearing the phrase "down with art" sends shivers down my spine, especially if the reason behind such a statement is the victory of this or that. Perhaps it won't matter a damn to talk about Bud Spencer here (even if we are on a review site, right...), but there's no need to plunge into cosmic pessimism and throw mud on the most beautiful thing that exists.
