Ivano Fossati Musica Moderna
Voto:
I could feel it... all these smiles and this absurd desire for lightness were hiding something, and after the archangel, another album that seems to have been made by a doppelgänger of Fossati with a carefree spirit! It’s impossible that the author of this work is the same as the one behind Macramè, Discanto, Lindberg, or many others... These guitar riffs (played certainly well but...) tired me out after just one listen. I know, I would need many more listens, but it’s hard to find the enthusiasm to put the CD back in the player...
Paolo Conte Psiche

@KURTTHEFISH02: Capossela in the sense that "ludmilla" could very well come from the hands of Vinicio: a drunk circus song, of course with a positive connotation! Anyway, the more I listen to it, the more I consider it a high-level album. In my opinion, the least successful tracks are "velocità silenziosa" and "omicron".
Paolo Conte Psiche

There are some echoes of aguaplano, of Max, in Ludmilla that even seem to imitate Capossela... but all of this is unmistakably Conte, with many excellent tracks that make "Psiche" a "rare" album...

@foreveryoung: I appreciate your comment, I know very well that emotions can arise from a sunset or a little butterfly fluttering over the grass, I haven't listened to music since yesterday and I know that interpretation is fundamental. But I believe that the essence of debaser is to spark curiosity rather than to provide technical lectures. Regarding art and the distance between a singer-songwriter's lyrics and poetry or between "classical" music (which is not a genre) and "light" music (which is hard to define), I absolutely don’t agree, as I stated at the beginning of the review.
Vomitory Terrorize, Brutalize, Sodomize
Voto:
"...another beautiful bloody little gem of pure violence": with a presentation like that, I wouldn't listen to this cd even under torture (just to stay on theme)... I could vomit with much less....

I'm glad that many have understood the meaning of my little review, thank you for your patience!... In response to HOLDSWORTH, I would say that my attempt was precisely to express my personal emotions, placing them within a minimal context. And to do this, I don't think it's essential to linger on the interpretations of various rattle, abbado, muti, and so on. If we want to go deeper and identify the different emotions evoked by the various interpretations, that is quite another matter that I did not intend to delve into and do not even know how to do....

After various ups and downs, this review has finally arrived... thanks to sfasciacarrozze and the debaseriani staff. P.S. the rating I give to the symphony is obviously 5 and not 3 (my oversight for not indicating it).

I fully agree and support what primiballi has written... this is the only album I’m missing from Testa, I’m going to take care of it...
