Hey, I'm here too listening to and appreciating them! I'm discovering them now and I find neo-prog to be a truly exciting genre... I really appreciate the technical side of the bands that everyone criticizes, but I'm also always very attentive to the atmospheres... they actually rely on atmospheres and I must say they do it well! I find them a very dreamy and melancholic band. In this album, they've tried a more rock and more acoustic approach than in the past, but I must say they've done it very well; sure, the previous four are still the best, but I have to say that the change has been successful! No Place For Innocent is bound to remain one of my favorites from the group. But the subsequent Pure is even better!

only great album? DT have ONLY made great albums! And anyway, if you are one of the detractors, you can't exclude Awake and Scenes From A Memory from the great albums!

A review that's a bit too sparse! For an album like this, much more needs to be said!

two different twins... the crap that goes from finished product to shopping malls for sale!

Manalishi doesn't understand a damn thing! To criticize such a perfect and sophisticated album takes some serious guts!

Powerful, direct, and technical album... yet their best work comes from the more recent past. "The Art Of Navigating By The Stars" and "Paramount" remain unparalleled, conveying an unbeatable emotion! The subsequent "steps" is also very successful.

I converted to progressive three years ago! I was listening to this album when I was an aspiring thrasher, but now I find it predictable and repetitive! That's all!

The first to write it was me! I had begged myself that I had to be the first to do it, and so it was! Here we go!

to respond to comment 5... let's say yes... because there's nothing that can give me as many different sensations and emotions as prog does... and then in prog it's one of the few genres where musicians truly compose! like in classical and jazz (which I don’t listen to but I know are two high culture genres) where there’s really the concept of playing music at 360°! As for the rest of rock... I listen to songs, not entire discographies! I listen to songs from different styles... but I hardly ever get to listen to whole albums... and recognize masterpieces!

Roby, look, I didn't say that the Rush had scripts; I only mentioned that they let the trends of the moment influence their music, but I never questioned that the Rush didn't have their great personality and class... And it seems to me that there is little of what was heard around in the '80s on the album!
