I like the Police, and I believe that Sting did well to move towards new horizons after leaving the band... he repeated his success but not the previous quality! The early years of his solo career are still good...

But in my opinion, Paul was influenced by everything except the death of his FRIEND Lennon... the two already hated each other by the end of the 60s, then Lennon kind of mocked him ("How Do You Sleep?") and that’s it... the review is beautiful!

I don't know anything about Wakeman's solo work; I only have his notes imprinted on "Sabbath Bloody Sabbath" and "Buried Alive"... the story is excellent!
