I really liked the album, quite a lot (4.5)... but is it from '75? I own all the episodes of the band from very 'eavy to sweet freedom... does it stylistically resemble any of these?

I knew nothing about it... unfortunately, I never had the chance to listen to any of Ringo's solo work!

and it is one of my favorite albums (in my opinion) of his career...

I agree with the choice of the album to review and the rating, but everything else is missing! For example, it’s not clear whether you like the album and in what way, if there are any particular highlights, how Satriani sounds in this context, etc. Personally, it's a good album, pleasant to listen to but nothing more; I think the sound is too impersonal... A nice discovery is the Red Hot drummer in a hard rock version, but I believe Sammy Hagar steals the show with a devastating performance that somewhat reminds me of Dee Snider in Widowmaker, especially in "Stand by for Pain" from '94... Of course, when "Get It Up" kicks in, it's a blast... Until next time!

I have several albums by Galás (Litanies, Omonimo, La Serpenta Canta, Sporting Life, The Divine Punishment, Malediction and Prayer, You Must Be Certain of the Devil, The Singer). Which one could you relate to? Perhaps Litanies and Omonimo?

I can't believe it... in a work like this, there isn't a Robert Johnson song?? I wouldn't have bet a penny on that! The review is truly commendable; I partially agree with you on the Pino Daniele from across the channel, although personally, I also see a bit of Zucchero Fornaciari in the mix... one last thing, is your rating for the work a 3 as written below the title at the start of the review or a 4.5 as you say in closing? Anyway, very well done!
