A band that is slow yet always in continuous evolution. Eleven years have passed since their last work, and in their own words, not out of necessity but by choice. Barrow and Gibbons: "the pressure to create a successful album at all costs has faded over time." In one word, FREEDOM!! And so, the floor is open for expression; sounds that are increasingly OLD where the downtempo of their beginnings steps aside, making way for Gibbons' vocal suffering and the acid journeys undertaken by Geoff Barlow's guitar, which is, in my personal opinion, the true protagonist of this album. Whether it will be a masterpiece or not is something only time will decide.
