But is someone forcing you to (try) to write reviews? Look, it’s not mandatory. Especially when you really have nothing to say, and in this case when you don’t know the subject at all.
I’d like to give you 0, but that’s not possible, while the album, although designed for the soundtrack of the animated film of the same name, has an excellent repertoire of classics: Yellow Submarine, Hey Bulldog, Eleanor Rigby, All Together Now, Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds, Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band, With a Little Help from My Friends, All You Need Is Love, When I'm Sixty-Four, etc.

I partially agree with the Epizootico above, "The Drift" is on the brink of being unbearable, an oppressive black monolith, while I find "Tilt" very similar to "Bisch Bosch," always challenging but with unexpected melodic glimpses. Who knows if the spry seventy-year-old will gift us another "Scott 4" someday, I was just listening to it again a few days ago, it's amazing it came out in '69 during the height of "flower power," impeccable production and beautiful songs.

They are my favorite group (after the COIL), but by now the genre (and them) has reached stagnation. Honest record, but revealing of a musical spirit that is no longer there. As a fan, I would like to give it a 4, but I give it a 3, then sadness sets in...

Listened to several times and then tossed aside and forgotten. Your review (excellent) brought it back to my mind "annoyingly."
A listenable album, with some good ideas, but absolutely dispensable.
