instead, I was really convinced by him, Xela, Tim Hecker, and Aidan Baker, a fantastic end of 2008 :)

one of the albums from 2008, certainly demanding but very rewarding.

No, the audience doesn't feel it, and even less the applause, all hands are busy holding rolls of toilet paper :P

"Oh, what a drag, we've all heard this album already and anyone who hasn't is an idiot! If you like it, buy it, damn it. And we like it."

@kosmogabri: you made me fall off my chair laughing ;)

Anyway, great record, well done to Zu and kudos to Patton's Ipecac for recruiting them for this "granite-like" release.

shitty review (let's stay on topic), instead this "demonic" live (666) is really tough, perhaps one of the best releases from the misanthropic Lustmord. An album that pairs well with "Seishinbyouin" by Atrium Carceri, another journey into dark and perverse worlds.

awful review, but at least you deserve a 2 for bringing this dark gem, this monument of "dark and gothic shoegaze" to Debaser, which remains one of the best releases of 2008 for me. Rating for the album? definitely more than 4 stars but less than 5.
