Neil Young Le Noise
Voto:
Neil Young's "experimental" works have always left me feeling deflated, even the much-praised "Dead Man," a silly plethora of noi(o)se distortions. Now, to make matters worse, Lanois is here, whose "atmospheric" production does nothing but extend a broth that's already quite bland. As AZZO has already said, I would love an album produced by His Majesty Albini, but if the old Neil leaves me another album like Harvest before he kicks the bucket, I'll be happy. Anyway, hats off to the old man who always wants to change and try new paths, but he doesn’t always hit the mark.
David Sylvian Sleepwalkers
Voto:
Nice review, fitting for the album; although I didn't understand the part about snobbery. Or rather, I understand that you view Sylvian as snobbish, but what does it matter to those who listen to his music? Does being snobbish or not affect what he has produced over the years? Moreover, it seems to me that Sylvian has not remained on the fringes of the scene at all, as evidenced by this "Sleepwalkers" (or the previous collection of unreleased tracks "Everything & Nothing"), full of various collaborations with different musical worlds. The album is nice, but it's only for fans or collectors.

Aerosmith Aerosmith
Voto:
Aerosmith the "Led Zeppelin" of America??? Come on!!! They're not even worthy of being mentioned! They've been a decent hard rock band, that's it, and over the years, they reached the "pumped-up" (commercially speaking) Pump. Then MTV forgot about them…
Grinderman Grinderman 2

I agree with the reviewer, and the video for Heathen Child is the most TAMARRO in history.
Jane Campion Bright Star

The movie started, then, zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz zzzzzzzzz zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz zzzzzzz zzzzzz zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz, then I woke up and went home. If you want to wish someone harm, recommend this movie ;)
Primus Pork Soda
Voto:
Pork Soda is definitely the artistic "summation" of Primus (even though I personally prefer "Sailing the Seas of Cheese" much more). A phony review...
Coil Moon's Milk (In Four Phases)
Voto:
The COIL deserve a 5 no matter what. Perhaps the best music ever produced on earth. Maybe I'm exaggerating. Maybe.
P.S.
Great review ;)

...and to think that this "review" is from 2006 and I only discover this album today.
Wonderful, it makes you soar very high, I have no words...
