masterpiece. the pinnacle alongside "millions..." and the first one. labeling Tortoise as post-rock, as many do, seems a bit reductive to me, and personally, I think that both "standard" and "it's all around you" are excellent works. I don’t understand why so many distance themselves from them...........oh well.

let's see ole......the fact is that I still have many to listen to. the album by Locanda delle Fate was one of my favorites but I see it has already been reviewed.....
by the way, "Porte d'oriente" (2005) is the latest by Indaco (I just found that out) ;-)

The battle of epping forest is an apotheosis, it's the most beautiful piece by Genesis after Supper's ready in my humble opinion. I've always preferred Foxtrot just a bit more than this, but I think it's a matter of affection. At this level, it's really hard to say which is better than the other. It becomes more of a personal matter.
