Alice & Franco Battiato I Treni Di Tozeur / Le Biciclette Di Forlì

my vote is for I treni di Tozeur, which alone is worth an entire album. Le biciclette di Forlì deserves a 5 for its irony.

Adder this review is in maxi format by your standards ;-) Forty-two lines counted but written very well. Of the good old Steve, I only have the well-honored "Please don't touch" (decent for me but nothing more), and many regrets for some episodes of his concert that are playing at full blast on Roma Uno, and that I can't watch (well, one might say, there's YouTube. Well no, it's not the same thing :-)).

Jake, you’re not narrow-minded at all because Tom Waits is great, but 90 euros (at least) to see him in concert is really too much. When the Art Ensemble of Chicago came to Cosenza (they played at the Teatro Rendano), it cost 10 euros... I’m just saying this.

It's true there's quite a gap between Aenima/Lateralus and the latest 10,000 Days; nonetheless, for me, it remains a great album, always very charged and intense. I say long live works like 10,000 Days, especially since it wasn't at all easy to find a decent follow-up to the peak reached by the two previous albums.... Beyond the statements about the artist, I add that Maynard has a really beautiful voice, and above all (this is a big quality) he uses it in a very functional and intelligent way.

This and Lateralus are absolute masterpieces. Powerful, restless, aggressive; two of the greatest chapters in the history of rock, in my opinion.

Sooner or later I had to comment on this review, since I come across it often. A delightful album among my favorites by Robert (I would say a must) and a sublime review. What more could you ask for?
