I can't stand those absolutist phrases like "Anyone who loves or appreciates rock has had their infatuation period with blah blah blah." I love and appreciate rock. I've never found the Ramones even remotely interesting. My problem? Maybe, but those populist little phrases really diminish the value of a review.
