Mad Season Above
Voto:
Yes, this album by Mad Season (which stands for the season of hallucinogenic mushrooms, by the way) has really made an impact. No one can take away that 4.5.

A remarkable review, without a doubt. I remember reading in a 1995 issue of Rockerilla (a magazine of great quality in those years, a true source of a thousand musical discoveries, a cult!) that Mr. Wyndorf made that provocative little remark just to make the impressionable press talk endlessly and those who wanted to slap some label on M.M. ... while he himself had a good laugh about it! Quite the clever one, Mr. Wyndorf. Well, there will come a time for me to delve deeper into S.o.G. because indeed his little band deserves quite a lot. The idea of the stoner Trimurti is exquisite, even though I see the Sleep—who I like a lot—more as doomedelic than strictly stoner. Regardless, very impressive.

Purchased last week... for now I find it very stern and stingy with emotions. I think I'll use it as listening in the car for a while, then we'll see! The review is quite crazy!
Queensrÿche Promised Land
Voto:
Well, I see that it has been understood what it feels like to be improperly labeled. Civilization still exists.
Queensrÿche Promised Land

Dear Matacà... the Catholicism has absolutely nothing to do with this, to which, by the way, I don't belong at all. Instead, it is a matter of good taste, so let's not start passing judgments (especially with that ridiculous tone of a supposed non-conformist) without having the faintest idea of the motivations behind other people's ideas.
Queensrÿche Promised Land
Voto:
I argue that being gratuitously vulgar does not make Mementomori a good reviewer... on the contrary, it ruins all the other work done to present this more than decent effort by Queensryche.

This one is really bad. O_o

Although the review -let's admit it- says very little about the album and what we can find within its digital grooves, I tend to greatly appreciate and reward "musical musings" like yours. Therefore, given the remarkable style and inspiration evident in your review, I humbly bestow a resounding Five. The album, alas, I have not yet had the chance to listen to, but I have heard great things about the subsequent work, Amrita.
Queen A Kind of Magic
Voto:
It is true that Queen reached their creative and stylistic peak with the grandiose Queen II and began a downward curve with A Day at the Races. However, it must be said that this album is less ignominious than those that preceded it in the eighties. Your analysis is really accurate, though. 2.5 as far as I'm concerned.
Ravi Shankar and Philip Glass Passages
Voto:
Keeping in mind the expertise and class of Shankar and Glass taken separately... I can somewhat imagine the greatness of this record! Excellent review, well done.
