Diamond Head Death and Progress
Voto:
The various types of press created quite a hype around this record; it was easy to find reviews giving it top scores or even discovering it labeled as "Album of the Month" in some publications. I bought it, listened to it a lot, but I was rather disappointed, until I eventually sold it. That’s just how it goes... it really wasn’t at all that great comeback that some "journalists" had raved about...
Cathedral Forest of Equilibrium

Grim. Severe. Immense. A very dark crucible flecked with crimson and violet bursts. Rich in melancholy, self-pity, and feverish meditation. A shining obsidian pillar, a marvelous debut.

A truly valid and fascinating album, I just pulled it out after years from the shelf. It's all dusty, and even though I intend to listen to it again now, I certainly won't remove the dust; it’s part of the whole. Great job by the reviewer.
Opeth Pale Communion

I've fully embraced Heritage, and at the end of the day, I find it very positive, no matter how derivative it may seem. I'm too attached to this lineup, regardless of the era, therefore... this Pale Communion will also be played a lot from my stereo. Well done to the reviewer, even if a bit verbose.
Cesare Pompilio Moggi è innocente

This character is an inhuman troglodyte of rare stupidity, and deserves nothing more than to be locked away somewhere. Knowing that he has even made an album (presumably a clunker) and that it is being reviewed makes me reflect on the concept of "waste."
Gorefest Rise To Ruin

Guitars tuned to B??? Well, aside from this dilemma, I really appreciate the warm and crunchy Gibson sounds of this band, especially "Erase," one of their latest works before the seventies shift.
Moonspell Irreligious
Voto:
Superficial, overly pompous... quite fallen over the years. Two stars, as far as I'm concerned.

Very good, you expose the pettiness and musical emptiness of this pathetic, pretentious, and cunning buffoon.
Motorpsycho And Stale Storlokken The Death Defying Unicorn

Oh yes, very very well spent sesterces. After finally plunging into this double disc until I reached the bottom, I can only be happy with the purchase.

I will never be able to tolerate the as frequent as childish expression: "You either love XYZ or hate it, there are no middle ways."
