Mind Funk Dropped
Voto:
One of the albums that I feel belongs to me the most deeply. Bought as soon as it was released, worn out in the '90s and '00s, recently unearthed... the same immense emotions. An album that has aged beautifully, still a exquisitely moody masterpiece that must be (re)discovered.
Todd Dillingham Wilde Canterbury Dream
Voto:
I remember the various albums by Todd Dillingham (and assorted psychedelia) reviewed in Rockerilla, definitely a reference publication in the '90s. Everything was always done with particular care and that refined vocabulary. Reading Giampiero Fleba was truly magical, and it always rewarded me with excellent CDs, including some very limited editions caught in the moment: Soma, Mynd Music, Moom, and so on. Anyway, good job on the page.
Johann Sebastian Bach Suites Per Liuto
Voto:
"Scattered works entrusted to this instrument," quoting verbatim from the review. I hope we are joking. From the Middle Ages to the eighteenth century, the literature for solo lute or in ensemble is practically ENORMOUS. It's all about knowing it and wanting to discover it. Congratulations, however, for the choice to showcase music like this by Bach father.
Cop Shoot Cop Release

I remember them very well; they were a very important group for the developments of American industrial music. This record, then, I really wore out... it's more accessible but not compromised at all. Very, very good.
Kiss It Goodbye She Loves Me, She Loves Me Not

Oh yes, I bought it when it first came out, encouraged by the review I read in Rumore. I can only highlight the reviewer’s analysis!

Yes, I have to manage to see it. Thank you for the countless insights. Perhaps there is still a true meaning, very distant and disembodied in "feeling Italian," without having to feel nausea just by thinking about it.

Here, out of excitement, I even slipped in a nice anacoluthon like Ghezzi in the previous comment. Upon rereading the sentence, it seems even more intensely incorrect. Good like this.

I completely relate to your review, and to what our, my, your Nineties were like. A nostalgic yet bright smile.

How beautiful the Convolvuli on the cover. The album looks really interesting and important.
