Hello dear Elio, after several months of absence due to various reasons, I have returned here on Deb and found with great pleasure your excellent review of a book that is fundamental for me! Congratulations again, hoping to be able to write more often. Cannas

@editors: what if we filtered a bit the reviews to publish? Wouldn't be a bad idea, or am I mistaken? One of the ugliest, dumbest, most useless pages of all DeB.
Lenny Kravitz Let Love Rule
Voto:
This album by Lenny is definitely the best, a notch below the next two, and it’s truly remarkable how he manages to blend various genres while remaining contemporary and never trivial. This is true for this and the next two albums because beyond that, there's nothingness.

Yes, I also saw the Japanrocksampler and I left it there because I don’t have the cash! I'm curious about Japan and the fact that the book is almost double the size of the one on Kraut. Have we lost track of this pop from the distant Rising Sun or has Cope's pen gone wild?! Honestly, I know very little about that music scene, and that's why it fascinates me a bit, but the subject matter is too new; I didn't even know a single band among the two thousand names mentioned. So you give up and re-read the Krautrocksampler!

Cope's book is a must-read for anyone who loves the genre, both for the subject matter and for Cope's passion for this music. The book, read and reread, is a truly great book that deserves credit for (re)opening and extending the significance of Kraut to the entire Rock community. It's essential for beginners who want to navigate through the dozens of German bands of the time, and an excellent reference tool for those who are already well-versed in Kraut.
P.S.: I would have spent two words on Eloy in the Krautrocksampler, right?

@Paloz: Kraut is an endless genre. As for prog, after the Picchi, another Italian prog album is on the way, happy?! :D. Thank you very much for all the other comments.
