I only know the debut, which is a great album; I really need to check this one out, excellent feedback.

I didn't quite understand the pairing of Ok Computer/In Rainbows (I would have preferred The Bends paired with Ok Computer), but the review is excellent, really a great analysis. I really enjoyed their latest album, unlike the aforementioned In Rainbows and The Kings of Limbs, which I personally consider the worst in their discography along with the debut.

I knew it had to come out, it's a pleasure to know they've released a nice album.

I still haven't managed to go to one of their live shows; I came across a review of one of their gigs that was hilarious; it highlighted how Built To Spill and their members (and especially, of course, Doug) are one of the farthest examples from the classic and annoying conception of "rockstar" that I've never been able to stand, and from which I've always instinctively distanced myself. One of my absolute favorite bands.

Not a great review, not a great album.

You describe it perfectly and the four stars are well deserved, but, as I wrote in a previous listening, it’s the complete absence of the “Pink Floydian” electric sound that didn’t sit well with me, no doubt about it (I had also read that initially Gilmour was supposed to collaborate and then nothing came of it, what a shame).

It seems to me that I’ve seen a remake of this movie (possible?), I’m missing the original and I should catch up on it.

Well, that this is an absolute masterpiece of Italian rock singer-songwriter music of all time is objective (how many have been influenced, Radiohead for example, already mentioned by @[2000], drew heavily from here). Too bad that after the radical change in sound of the subsequent "Perchè Sputi?" (which in some ways is still superior to "Tristezza a Palate", despite the lesser space left for Billy Ballo during the arrangement stage) nothing more has been produced, or perhaps it's better this way, because his legend has remained intact.

As far as I'm concerned, a masterpiece, one of the best films on the subject, without a shadow of a doubt, and I certainly didn't expect a film like that before I saw it.
