The Breeders Pod
Voto:
I agree on the first 2 Breeders and on Kim Deal. I completely disagree on Doggerel and in general on the Pixies post-Trompe le monde, which I continue to consider absolutely valid. I don’t know, it seems to me that it has become too easy to criticize the new Pixies without even listening to them carefully. It's a bit like what was done for twenty years with Bossanova and Trompe le monde, only to later reevaluate them rightly.

Listened to it carefully: very beautiful, among other things with several remarkable instrumentals. I confirm the 5.

The most original version of Pinocchio ever?

Exceptional review for an unofficial album I was not aware of. So excellent recommendation. As for them, well, there’s little to add to what you've already written. Excellent artists, excellent albums.

Lucio Dalla Henna

93/94 I don't know, probably everyone from my generation was listening to Nirvana. Well, at least those who somehow followed rock. Great review, I'm not knowledgeable enough about Dalla to write something meaningful. Oh, don't touch La Fabbrica di Plastica, as far as I'm concerned, one of the most significant albums in Italian rock; a reissue was the bare minimum for a record like that.
Arctic Monkeys The Car

I haven't listened to it yet, but I consider the previous one, in some ways, to be their best. They are right to keep going down that path.
Neil Young Decade

Nice review. I'm not sure if the album is a new best or not. In any case, I would say I'd prefer to gradually explore it. For now, I mainly know their stuff from the 90s and Psichedelic Pill, which I'm particularly attached to.
Stephen King Fairy Tale

I devoured The Dark Tower in a few months, and there are seven books, each one thicker than the last. I think the masterpiece remains IT; I would have liked to pick this up, but at the moment there are other novels that attract me more.

I'll definitely check it out, so maybe I'll stop by again. In the meantime, I'll hold off on the judgment about the review. It doesn't really relate, but has anyone seen the docuseries on Wanna Marchi? I found it very well made. And harrowing. Basically a thriller/horror.
