I quote Seb, there are still people who think that Dylan is just a folksinger, just as there are people who still think the Beatles are just the ones who did She loves you ye ye ye, and not much else. Dylan was a folksinger only in the early years of his career; from Bringing It All Back Home onwards, what he has done is, to put it simply, Rock.

I believe this is the American cover; I saw it recently on vinyl, and it's soooo much more beautiful than the original... it has a psychedelic style in the lettering and the photo that is perfect for the album.

I haven't listened to it yet, but I loved origyn of simmetry and hullabaloo, and the other albums don't reach those levels for me, good reception, even though it's track by track.

I also prefer Electric Ladyland, but this latest one and Are You Experienced are the two essential works for anyone who wants to approach Hendrix.

mmm.. I don't agree, I LOVE Narcissus and Goldmund, for example, but you really can't say that Siddhartha fades in comparison or that it doesn't have anything relevant to say. Beyond personal tastes (I consider, as I’ve already written, Steppenwolf to be inferior to his other major works, for example compared to Narcissus and Goldmund and Siddhartha, but I would never dream of saying that it fades in front of them or that it doesn't have anything significant to offer) Siddhartha is a classic that sooner or later each of us will reflect on, perhaps more than once, because it has an incredible power. Then, of course, this is just my opinion.

As far as I'm concerned, the fact that Siddhartha is easily approachable only enhances its greatness. One cannot dismiss a milestone like Siddhartha as mere "rose water" or a "pamphlet," for it has the rare ability to speak to everyone.

The point is that Berardi is the author of the unrepeatable masterpiece Ken Parker. If he hadn't been, Julia would be valued differently; I have read several issues, the first 70, and it's a good comic.
