The fact remains that Cobain hated metal, and indeed he adored the Melvins, who didn't have a shred of metal in them from what I've heard.

Cobain had an incredible musical culture, I agree with repartoamena on this, and also on the fact that he had a completely different musical idea compared to the Melvins.

It was one of Cobain's favorite bands, who hated metal. I tried several times to listen to them but never very carefully; I might start with "Stag," even though I'm intrigued by Cobain's production on "Houdini," of which he produced half the songs, I had read.

What you don't want to understand is the immense historical, moral, and symbolic importance of the partisans during that period for Italy after the Ventennio and the alliance with Hitler and entering the war alongside him; it cannot be reduced to just "without partisans, we would have arrived at the same result."

this isn't about saying "for me, for you" it’s objectively the immense importance they have had, it’s history, that’s all, just as the American intervention is history

"the partisans are a little fairy tale" cannot really be read, it cries out for vengeance, if only for the immense moral and symbolic value they have had for our country.
