I was thinking, geo, that I believe there are 4 films about travel and escape by Salvatores: the quadrilogy Marrakesh Express, Turnè, Mediterraneo, and Puerto Escondido.

Thank you, Acqualife! Regarding one of Abatantuono's more recent performances, in particular, I was incredibly struck by the character he portrayed in "Io non ho paura," unrecognizable: "brutto, sporco e cattivo" like never seen before.

thank you teenage! and thank you aries! @geo@geo ahhaha! :-D I just saw it on YouTube, I need to fill this gap of turnè and sud (by the way, have you seen sud? is it good?) here’s the link to the gas station scene with Abatantuono-Bisio: hi everyone and thanks again!

@bathenay faded photocopy of which other 3?

Wow, believe it or not, Turnè is one of the few films by Salvatores that I haven't seen, along with Sud and a few others, but I'll make up for it very soon. Among my favorites, I also include "Io non ho paura."

@senzastile hmm maybe I’ll consider getting the print version too, which I’ve never even seen, even though there are other books on my list before it (including that le memorie dello squalo in home I think), @paacoo I don’t know if it’s prettier, it’s hard for me to make a comparison because they are very different, they share the theme of escape in common, but it’s treated in a very different way, undoubtedly 2 great films both. Thanks to both of you!
