mmm I listened to it, and I still wouldn't know what grade to give it, probably a 3; it seemed a bit boring to me, but I need to listen to it again. Into the Wild, for me, remains a little masterpiece; there was a high and palpable tension and emotion from start to finish (regardless of the film for which it is the soundtrack). Here, I don't know. Very nice review.

jesus and mary chain, ride, slowdive, spacemen 3.. all undoubtedly great: however, my bloody valentine are by far the best in the "genre": with just one album (this one, which is among my many favorites), they said everything there was to say in the realm of "shoegaze," and better than anyone else. (if this term ever meant anything. In short, the highest peak, unbeatable even by themselves. "My Bloody Valentine induce a state of heroin-like passivity, hieratic (..)
