I really don't care about all the mental gymnastics I often read in the comments of reviews for this album. This is a great album, no doubt about it, it has nothing to envy from Obscured by Clouds, indeed, I often prefer it to the latter. A Momentary Lapse of Reason is dreadful, and if it weren't for On the Turning Away, it would be completely disposable; this is a whole different story.
