"and if today there are bands like Muse, Keane, Coldplay or The Killers, they certainly deserve some credit." That's it.

Well, tastes are tastes, of course, but at the very least, historical accuracy should be respected because this film literally paved the way that many have followed (and with that house in the woods, they have finally renewed it, at least in part, really). I read "clichés" of the "genre," but it's a shame that this film invented the "genre" and that the clichés came afterward, often with horrific abominations (like "House of 1000 Corpses," one of the worst films I've ever seen). Here, by the way, the film has the great merit of not showing the various massacres but suggesting them (as I read somewhere), unlike the slaughterhouses at work in the current torture porn and slasher films that, in my opinion, are truly repulsive and don’t scare at all, nor are they even ironic.

beautiful and in-depth proposals for comics that are quite unknown here in Italy (I've always been a comic book enthusiast, but honestly, I had never heard of these 2 titles), the fact is that here in Italy 1 comics are still seen as C-list literature by many, 2 there's an absolute dominance of Bonelli-style comics or Japanese ones. Now, although there are often truly valid proposals and sometimes masterpieces within these 2 areas, there's so much more in author comics that is overlooked by most; I think of Arethel, I don't know if you're familiar with it, by Domestici and Guidobaldi, which is an absolute masterpiece yet fundamentally ignored, and they have made at least 2 editions of it.

So in Italy they have published only 2 cycles, shall we say? Did I get that right?

I didn't even read who the author of the review was; I made the equation beyonce-hot-guy-darius.

if so much gives so much, the title alone hints at the genius of this film

Nice review, just a little bit more and it would have been a 5.
