The debut was one of the most beautiful albums released in the early 2000s, alongside other debuts (I mention Black Rebel Motorcycle Club, Libertines, Vines, Strokes, but there were several others). However, overall the scene was rather disappointing compared to what had happened in the '90s, both in the UK and the USA. Generally, all those bands that emerged in the '00s, after a good/great debut, gradually lost their way, without any evolution or even a confirmation at the same levels as their respective debuts. Such a shame.

But do we want to talk about the super-creative covers featuring the faces of super dudes like him? CHI OMO! CHI OMO!

So far, the most objective review I've read on Deb regarding this album, which I really enjoyed, is all (by the way, you really don't like side 1?!). double 5

Honestly, I haven't listened to anything from them since Mellon Collie (superior to Siamese, as far as I'm concerned). Maybe I should check out Adore and Machina; we'll see. I've read that Oceania wasn't bad, actually.

The most striking thing is that people are responding seriously to this blatantly fake username from the very beginning, anyway.

I think I'm going to check them out, I'll look online to see where they are playing, you my friend, it's always a great pleasure to read your on the road reports. They already played in Rome on the 4th, what a shame.

As the other half of the two-headed monster holding the review knows, I'm not familiar with Grant Hart's solo work, but I love Hüsker Dü, and this double review is beautiful; I might just place it among my favorites.
