I have always found it curious that all the most famous prog bands (Genesis, Gentle Giant, Van der Graaf Generator, King Crimson) found their "launch pad" here with us (a phenomenon that repeated itself with Porcupine Tree). I have always wondered why. I remember reading a few years ago about a journalist reflecting on how, for example, Genesis are still appreciated more in Italy than elsewhere, attributing this to their very soft, acoustic-sounding sonorities and a consistently melodic approach, which has made them much more accessible in Italy compared to other possibly harsher and less melodic genres of the 70s.

It reminds me of erzacchiu, more than anything else, maybe a proper fake has finally arrived.

Hi Dark, very nice, I want to see the movie now.

really beautiful, congrats, but where would the spoilers be? I still haven't seen the movie, I've always avoided it, but the review gave me the right motivation.

In its genre, an absolute masterpiece, my favorite little cinematic monsters, anthology-like scenes as rightly pointed out, still incredibly entertaining today, at certain moments, like the bar scene, truly hilarious.

Very beautiful and heartfelt, the first one I listened to by Alice in Chains was Dirt (I bought it along with Superunknown by Soundgarden) then I moved on to this and the unplugged, both stunning, and I must say I prefer the acoustic-electrical sound of Alice in Chains.

Well, I didn't even read this stuff back in middle school.

A very enjoyable read. I have the complete double live of Hendrix at Woodstock (which I consider his best live performance), I’ve never listened to the compilations of the other artists.
