In my opinion, although I haven't lived through a damn thing, it aligns more with that of supersoul. Instead of critically evaluating them by comparing them with other artists (previous or contemporary) as Girasole did (which is not meant as a critique), I would read some biographies, watch Julian Temple's film, and also the videos (which, by the way, you can easily find on YouTube) in which these four idiots hurled iconoclastic shit at the dull England of the time to understand the significance of the "Sex Pistols" phenomenon, whether punk or not.
