The review is somewhat crap, but it tells you, more or less, what I think. "Chuck" and "Does this look infected?" (especially "Over my head", "Mr. Amsterdam", "88" and "We're all to blame") were not bad at all and at least allowed them to show that they had some decent ideas, considering that these 4 were born as clones of Green Day and Blink182.

Anyway, Myers is immortal due to a curse. This inflicts physical and mental damage on him, and to alleviate these pains, he must submit to the curse by killing members of his family (if I'm not mistaken). This is why he returns to Haddonfield. If only Rob Zombie had explained it...

1) They are not Thrash, nor are they inspired by Slayer; they create Emo Violence (see the acoustic track and the lyrics) with a bit of death mixed in.
2) You've been misled by the excellent production; their instrumental technique is average.
3) I agree with you about the singer, although I've never seen them live, so I can't give a definitive judgment.
