But I couldn't care less about the debate with that fool Teomondo. I'm back here to say that the only genius, the one who reinterpreted the blues in an innovative way (citing 47) was Brian Jones; otherwise those two suckers Richards and Jagger, who then dumped him, would still be around doing Beatles and Chuck Berry covers in some London club... Forget about partying surrounded by chicks with Roberto Cavalli and Briatore...

I didn't want to attribute to Capovilla the traits of a "savior of Italian music." I simply meant to point out that he is a real, honest, and consistent person. He talks negatively about the majors and the music system, yes, but not without reason. Fortunately, we haven't seen him on MTV or at Sanremo, like Afterhours and Marlene Kuntz. What I want to praise is his honesty and his qualities as a person... Far be it from me to acclaim him as the savior of Italian music, I repeat. In this interview, he didn’t take any credit that wasn’t his, and on rateyourmusic, he did nothing wrong. An artist must love their work; otherwise, they are doing it for money, leaving aside the usual nonsense about honesty and ethics. Giving a 5 to an album like "Dell'impero delle Tenebre," which 4 out of 5 people didn’t understand (I happened to read people saying that the lyrics are his weak point... but come on! They are literary quotes, not the usual crap from the first Battiato around!), is, on the other hand, always a good and right thing.

Clichéd and trivial. I've never listened to this, and given the past, I think I'll pass.
