I'm one of those who didn't listen to the album and, uh, I don't think it's my cup of tea. I’ll give it a try, especially since I’m sure you would have kept insisting :-). Anyway, when you play at home (see also your reviews on Lustmord, another one of your favorite artists), you always come out with the best reviews (and it may seem obvious, but talking so well about your favorite artists isn’t an easy task). I'm not voting for you, for the moment, because I don't feel like checking the little circle :-).

What does it mean to "give this record a 1 is ridiculous. Period"? It makes no sense, at least in this world. @Roof: these are my fellow citizens. I approached them solely and exclusively for this: to see what came out from the hottest band of the moment, made up of people living just a few kilometers from my home. This record still sounds horrible to me: I don't know what to do about it. As for the indie/not indie debate, I readily admit that I prefer anything that comes from an independent underground, but it's also true that a lot of good stuff has been recorded under a major label (in my collection, I have "Nevermind" and "Daydream Nation," the first two that come to mind, so I've given some money to those bastards at the majors too ;-)).

@Roof: I read "Teen Spirit all'italiana" somewhere (I don't remember where) and I remember feeling nauseous while reading it. If for you it's a modest album, that's your problem. If for me it's a piece of shit (but less of a piece of shit than others I've listened to, though still shit), it's certainly not because I'm a pseudoindie (is that term in fashion?).
