Depeche Mode Playing The Angel

As a big fan of DM, I was pretty disappointed with this album, which I think is clearly inferior to Exciter. I believe that there are 3-4 tracks that stand out, but the rest is just boring and the songs written by Dave unfortunately are bad. There's no unified sound, and it's unclear what identity they want to give the album. 2

Very good, I don't know these guys at all, but the review is excellent. Clear, flowing, but above all complete. You managed to cover everything you wanted without boring, and that's a rare gift.

U2 Under A Blood Red Sky

Pimptom go fuck yourself. Under a Blood Red Sky is the culmination of the "early" U2, that's true, but there's still a ton of stuff after that. Anyway, this live is a masterpiece. 5 without mincing words. The review is a bit sparse; you can tell you like them a lot, and maybe that's why it risks being a bit too celebratory. Lastly, know that not all tracks are taken from the Red Rocks concert like in the DVD or VHS, but a bit from there and a bit from Germany. ;)

Great album (in its own genre, of course). Back when there was still some healthy, fun pop in Italy, and why not, even serious.
