You expressed your point of view, which is quite brave, and that's fine. I won’t judge the content, whether I agree or not. There's only one problem: your piece is not a review of the album called "The Doors," but a grand encyclical of what you think ABOUT the Doors. So you got the wrong site.

I say that if this album had any other name instead of U2 on it, it would have at least a 4 average and everyone would be shouting masterpiece. Here, half of the people haven't even heard it. It doesn't matter if the latest Depeche Mode was a hilarious flop; it was done by them, and that's enough to give it a 5. What a disappointment.

Insufficient review, too summary and not very explanatory. The album is good, yes, but I really don't see any returns to the past (and by the way, it's an expression that has always been used inappropriately when it comes to U2). More than anything, it's a bit of a mosaic of their best experience over these 30 years with a touch of innovation.
