The Doors Strange Days

Beautiful review, congratulations. The album, like the first one, once again highlights Jim's great abilities and genius in tackling themes like these, but unfortunately, I believe that the level of the musical compositions isn't always outstanding and slightly undermines the final quality of the work. I think that, ultimately, the absence of the Doors was due to having 3 fairly mediocre musicians who didn't always manage to support Morrison's ideas from a musical standpoint.

A good album, nothing more. The review is very passionate, well done, so passionate that it almost risked becoming a funeral dirge :D

The review is really too boring; despite being well-written, I couldn't make it to the end, but what I read was enough for me to find several points I disagree with. First of all, let's say that this is true, it's a good album, but to claim that it is a cornerstone of 00s rock seems a bit exaggerated to me, rather, quite risky. Secondly, I am tired of witnessing this shocking and rampant inflation of comparisons between Coldplay and U2. This is a story they made up and spread around, and you all buy into it: Coldplay, although a good band, has never even come close to the levels reached by the Irish band. Thirdly, what does "unorthodox instruments" mean?

I don't know, to me Brizzi seems like an illiterate.

I wanted to thank the reviewer for introducing me to the band, sparking my curiosity with this review. I downloaded this and Moon Safari, and in less than half a day, they blew me away. Very talented and very interesting.

Monument of soft hard pop punk.

I find these operations quite inappropriate. A record is defined by the historical moment and the situation in which it was recorded.

Indeed, we saw the success you had with your terrible review of Green Day, where you talk about "hard rock punk" riffs and Green Day as the best one can expect from music, but hide!

Here, it's the random ratings like number 3 that ruin debaser.

"One could expect something more, but with the music being produced these days, perhaps the best we can get is precisely this album." If the best we can expect right now is Green Day, I might as well hang myself. Boring review, poorly written and full of stutters. And then you explain to me what the hell a hard rock punk riff is?
