Marillion Radiation
Voto:
@ DADUZZA: I described "Marbles" as "pleasant" because I find it to be an ear-catching album and therefore enjoyable to listen to. For me, it's not a total flop. But it’s not something to be praised to the skies either. "Neverland" is a good composition, as is "The Invisible".... However, "Don't Hurt Yourself" is a bit lackluster, for example. The sounds of "Brave" are definitely on the opposite end. So much so that sometimes one struggles to believe it’s the work of Marillion. Therefore, I prefer the "dark" "Brave" to the more "sunny" "Marbles". But I always enjoy re-listening to both.

Boring album in my opinion. Lacking in ideas like other Marillion albums. Brave is definitely the most ambitious and honest record of the H era. Marbles is nice. I much prefer the more challenging albums that require multiple listens to better digest them. Brave is among these.
King Crimson The Night Watch

Just yesterday I had it in my hands, unsure whether to buy this cd or The Great.... Now I will go for the moment with The night watch (by the way they only cost 11 euros here). King Crimson my favorite band!!!
Steve Hackett Genesis Revisited

Hackett, the eternal misunderstood. To me, he was a pillar of the band. Honestly, I find this album incredibly dull. An unnecessary project that, nonetheless, adds nothing and takes nothing away from the admiration I still have for Steve.

@ TRILOBITA: do you claim that "Tha Lamb" can be considered Gabriel's first solo work? My goodness, if Rutherford and Banks heard you. Just remember that Gabriel's contribution was primarily to the lyrics, which he claimed the right to write entirely on his own. Then, in reality, being quite late on these, the others in the band helped to finish them. So the album was written, more or less, with the participation of everyone. Let's not forget Hackett's tracks either. Gabriel was under a lot of pressure during that time for various reasons, including the decision to leave the band. Personally, if I had to rank the Genesis albums (and it’s not easy), I’d put "Foxtrot" at the top. I consider it a perfect album. But everyone has their own tastes. Bye.

.....indeed, nobody is perfect. I had a VHS of Blind Faith where Winwood hits some monstrous wrong notes with his voice. Anderson from Yes, as told by my brother-in-law who saw them in France in the '70s, encountered a series of disastrous performances. In short, it happens. But that doesn't make me love them any less.

...yes, I didn't dare to say the term "stecca" because, in fact, it wasn't flawless.

@ PINOMARCIA: ..the voice of Peterone revisable. Sorry, in what sense? I haven't listened to this bootleg, but I remember, from magazines of the time, that Peter Gabriel didn’t sing at his best during The Lamb tour. Often helped by Collins (or rather assisted), he was frequently struggling with the execution of the tracks. I read that at times he even forgot some lines but later claimed that the problem was the quite cumbersome costumes. Legends or reality?
Muse The Resistance
Voto:
I’ll start by saying that I listened to this CD a couple of times in MP3, somewhat distracted and with little concentration. So of course, take my opinion with a grain of salt. It seems to me that Muse are indulging in too much self-praise. Am I wrong, or does their sound at times lean towards "pomposity"? I have the impression that Bellamy adds too many variations to his songs at the expense of spontaneity. At the time, I rated Absolution as the last decent work of the band. I fear I might not have been mistaken. But I could also be wrong.

I’m from Padua and a friend of mine was there with you at the concert. The venue is always run like this. I mean, terribly. In winter, the owners don’t turn on the heating and in summer, air conditioning is a fantasy. Lastly, many people who frequent this place buy beers - or other drinks - before entering. With 200 people inside, it’s already hard to breathe, I can only imagine that night...
