I agree that it was the last noteworthy album by EL&P. I've always found the songs presented here by Lake to be quite boring and trivial. However, the section dedicated to Palmer is excellent. Pirates still reminds me a bit of the Nice... more or less.

Beautiful!!! Nothing else to add. A friend of mine back then told me that the plot roughly resembled a film by Orson Wells. I never quite understood which movie he was referring to. Anyway, The Usual Suspects remains a masterpiece!!!! "Kobayashi" passed away recently. Few magazines or newspapers have paid him the tribute he deserves. Well....

Genesis Live In Zürich 1977

Gabriel stated that the Genesis after The Lamb sounded notably better than during the time he was with them. A Trick... and W&W are two great albums. Although Collins' vocal timbre has never thrilled me. So far, I've only listened to the live version of Carpet Crawl sung by Phil on Seconds Out. However, I find it hard to believe it's better than the one with Peter.
