In my opinion, the Flaming Lips always make great music. I’m referring to both the early FL and the current ones. Moby? Look, honestly, I have a lot of respect for him. In his genre, he’s pretty good, but if he doesn’t get a move on.........I won’t follow him anymore. There are also Wilco, then.....

I must say that it's not exactly my favorite musical genre. Nonetheless, this CD is mediocre. Have they also reached their peak? Or had they already been there for quite a while?

Peter Hammill In Camera

For Alan Clark: thank you for talking about a great artist who kept me company during so many evenings many years ago. Now, even though I have little time, I always try to stay updated and I was very sorry I couldn't see the VDGG performing not far from my home last year. Bye

Dear Alan Clarke, last night I played the mp3 cd, so this morning, on my way to the office, I listened to In Camera again. I must admit that it has been a while since I last listened to it and I think I have been unfair to Hammill. I rated this album a 3, but it is right to give it, for me, a solid 4. Bye

I respect your beautiful opinion. However, although VDGG along with King Crimson are my all-time favorites, this work by Hammill has never really captured me. It's one of Peter's more "cerebral" albums and not easy to assimilate. I'm not dismissing it, far from it. But I prefer Hammill in Silent...., Shadow...., Nadir's big... etc. Let’s say that if I had to recommend an album by Hammill to a friend as a starting point, I would suggest other works. Hi and thanks.

THEJARGONKING: thank you for the valuable information about Moraz. Indeed, from what I've heard, I was aware of the album you mentioned. You've cleared up any doubts I had. Thanks again.

In my opinion, "Impressioni di Settembre" reminds me of EL&P, don't you think? It's a shame to hear that Gentle Giant, on the other hand, are wrongly underestimated or forgotten.

Excuse me, does anyone know Patrick Moraz's albums well? Do you have any suggestions? Thank you.
