Steve Hackett Metamorpheus
Voto:
These days, good Hackett is taking Debaser by storm. Curious, but nice this thing!! Many positive comments have been written about this album. I will have to make the purchase – maybe on amazon uk – because this work of Steve has also piqued my interest. Your enthusiasm has... infected me. Thank you. Great review.

You catch me unprepared once again. I take note of your lovely review. As I've already told you, Hackett has written so much that I struggle to keep up with him. I saw him in concert just over 20 years ago - starting track "Every Day" - and I still have a beautiful memory of it. I saw him, with Genesis, in '73 - with a beard and thick mustache - but I was so far away from the stage that I almost cried. However, aside from the terrible acoustics, he and Rutherford were absolute.......machines!!!!!! Well done, Giona. Bye.

Aside from the first job, the rest is... boredom. For years now, Lenny has been a caricature of himself. Poor thing...

GIONA: I agree with you about Steve's two albums. However, I find the Genesis reunion in 2007 quite... silly. I think Gabriel and Steve did well not to make themselves available. And can you imagine Steve playing We Can Dance or Land of Confusion???????? Hi, I'm glad to interact with you.

GIONA: in fact, I couldn't - or didn't want to? - follow all of Hackett's works. The albums with "orchestra" that you mentioned had already been highly recommended to me. I will have to look into it because now you've piqued my interest!!!!! One question about the ex-Genesis: but in your opinion, why does he refuse a reunion with Collins & co.? Or is it Banks who doesn't want to see him anymore - according to unconfirmed rumors -? Then, Giona, one last question: do you prefer Please Don't Touch or Spectral Morning? Let me know. Bye

I've long abandoned Hackett. The last album I bought—regrettably—is Tokio Tapes. Aside from Voyage of... and a few scattered tracks in his immense discography, it seems to me that the good Steve is a restless soul, always searching for something new that he never quite finds. However, he was and remains one of my favorite guitarists. No question about it. I've never listened to this album, but of course, if I have the chance, I'll be glad to give it a listen. Bye.
Anthony Phillips The Geese And The Ghost
Voto:
It was a beautiful debut. For "us lovers of Genesis," it was an album long awaited and, fortunately, it did not disappoint me at all. Antony here was perfectly inspired, but, as his career progressed - and I emphasize that I haven't had the chance to listen to all of his works - perhaps he got a bit lost in too many ambitious projects. Rightly as you said, this album deserves to be held in the same high regard as Hackett's first work. It's to be listened to and relistened to, in silence and with eyes closed.

Here. For years, Queen have offered this kind of diverse positions. You either love them or you hate them. When I was 14, the same was said about Emerson Lake & Palmer (musical geniuses or delusional copycats?). For me, EL&P were and remain a great band, up to Brain... As for Queen, in conclusion, everyone has their own opinion. Let's respect each other, at least among us. Bye.

For "47": as a fan of King Crimson and VDGG like me, Queen is actually light years away from my musical beliefs. However, they have always generated... sympathy in me. I admit it!!! Giving them a "1" might be a bit excessive. Nevertheless, your opinion is absolutely respectable. Bye.
